System overview
DARKANN MAX™ is a modular cervical stabilization system combining a modified DARKANN interbody cage with a separate six-hole Butterfly locking plate.
DARKANN ONE™ is an integrated plate-spacer with four locking screws (C2–C3 to C6–C7, dedicated C7–T1 version).
DARKANN MAX™ combines a modified cage with a six-hole Butterfly locking plate (C2–C3 to C5–C6, dedicated C6–C7 cage).
Advantages: protected working corridor, fixed-angle locking fixation; ONE offers a shorter, less invasive procedure, MAX the strongest construct for marked instability.
Limitations: precise planning and intraoperative imaging required; ONE is reserved for stable, reducible segments; MAX needs wider exposure and is not intended for C7–T1.
